sumhow i got to dread going to work coz of my boss.. haa.. he is those kind of ppl who when encounter prob, will find ways to solve it. he will actively try to solve the prob de. there's a machine that have been down for 2 years. however, 2 weeks b4 i start my IA, he finally called the repairman to come and fix it. so it is ok alr, juz that not set up, not calibrated. he ask me to do it!!!!! omg. i nv touch that thing b4 can. i tried my best, set it up y'dae alr. todae i was trying to calibrate it but failed. damn!!!! and i have no idea wat went wrong, coz i followed the 'very brief' instruction manual (my only resource!) closely le. then he ask me to think of wat could have went wrong over the weekend. mon try to solve it. hai~~~ can i die???
my company is still quite good in terms of overall. coz they really treat IA students as if we r part of them. we get access card just like any full time staff. we have to swipe in every morning, swipe out when we leave and our card have the same access to the doors as all the ppl in our lab. they also made internal n global company email acct for us. we get all the emails sent to the staff, not thru forwarding, but directly from the source, really treating us like part of them.
With good treatments, comes great responsibility.
